Jefferson Airplane was one of the pioneers of psychedelic rock after forming in 1965. They were the first band from San Francisco and the Bay Area to have international success and the group headlined the three most famous American rock festivals of the 1960s in Monterey, Woodstock and Altamont.

Shot by Roy Martin in 1967, Jefferson Airplane are captured performing live at the O’Keefe Centre in Toronto.
